At the press start screen, press L+R,C-Left,C-Right,L+R. Then at the options screen, hold Z & press L until the cheat mode appears.

Quick RestartPress Analog-stick Left + A + B + C-Down + C-Left after crashing. You will be immediately repositioned in the center of the track.
