AOL 9.0 Security has made my computer so very slow. I cannot believe that this is a result of Aol 9.0 security and they have failed to addressed the problem. Speak up AOl subscribers maybe someone is listening

After receiving a notice from AOL that I needed to upgrade to se (thought i already was an se user) i agreed to download from AOL. I have a dialup connection and it took 14 to 15 hours to download. After all this time, AOL informs me they downloaded a corrupt file on my computer and all protection files were deleted. I called AOL to be told i must download again, another 15 hours in order to receive a correct version. They also denied it was their fault, even though i had to agree to let them overwrite all firewalls and virus protection I already had on my computer. I downloaded again and following a completed download, my system became so slooooooow that it drives me crazy. It wasn't slow until I downloaded their security edition instead of the one I had already on my computer. I also am disconnected frequently and that never happened before.

I am just about ready to dump their protection and go back to good old McAfee! My computer freezes when I call up the AOL Safety and Security Center. Just want to check on something in Firewall and it won't even come up. Just sits there doing nothing. And it runs a scan every day. I don't think I need that each and every day, but there is nothing I can do to stop it!
