"Beat my expectations"
Pros: Internet, phone, multitasking
Cons: keyboard, at&t network, no copy and paste
Summary: First off, I am a mac fanboy, so take my review here with a grain of salt because while I think I am being objective I maybe biased.
Like all mac products, the phone is very intuitive. I had set it up and was using it within a half hour. The thing that I am most impressed with is safari on this phone. While the screen is very large for a portable device lets face it for viewing webpages its tiny. Yet the iphone renders them very clearly. The ability to easiy zoom in makes web browsing very nice.
Having owned windows phones before I can appreciate how well designed this phone is. My biggest complaint with my old windows phone was that the phone itself was very hard to use and had very limited features. For myself, the phone has to be easy to use, otherwise I would prefer to just own seperate cell phone that is just that a cell phone. In terms of sound quality, I have no complaints. So far I have only used the provided head set while talking on the phone and the sound quality was excellent. I also love the fact that it is so easy to use all the other phone features while talking on the phone.
My two major gripes right now are 1) no copy and paste feature, which I think is essential and 2) the keyboard is a bit hard to use especially since I have pretty fat fingers. Apple has stated that they will be doing so updates to the phone via software updates so I am hopful the can address some of these issues.Updated
For those people who want a tool that easily allows them to 1) surf the web 2) send and receive emails, 3) make and reeive calls 4) listen to music or watch videos, then this is the device for you.
Yes, it does lack some of the sophistaced features advertised by other all in one phones but unlike those phones this one is actually very useable.
